Set several years after the end of KOA and ACOWAR. On the anniversary of the end of the war that saw to the end of the Valg, as Terressan prepares to receive the kings and queens of their allies for a memorial held every five years, it is interrupted by the arrival of several fae claiming to be be the High Lords and Ladies of another world.
