This story is how the veela, Draco, finds his mate, Hermione, and falls in love with her.

It has been five years after the war, you would expect everything is completely perfect, except for Hermione that is. When her fiance breaks up with her, her world is turned upside down. No spell can fix this problem. She encounters her ex-enemy and he turns her world around for a different view of things. Through all this confusion, join Hermione and her journey through her magical life to see if the beaver will catch the ferret, or the ferret will catch the beaver.

When Hermione visits her favorite muggle cafe in London she never expects to run into Draco Malfoy for the first time in three or four years and he has some information that Hermione desperately needs. Together they embark on an adventure and Hermione starts to feel a little different about the man who mocked her all those years.

Upon graduation, Hermione took up a post in the ministry of magic's magical law enforcement department and Draco started studying to become a healer. They left on good terms but life got busy and they lost contact with each other. That is, until one fateful day in November, six years later. It is the start of their Seventh Year, the Dark Lord is dead, and the only commotion the Golden Trio expects is to have boring, mundane lives from here on out. The Ministry of Magic has other plans. Enter Marriage Law and Dramione.

Draco thought the biggest problem living for a year under the same roof as Hermione Granger was the probability of them killing each other. He never thought it would be falling in love with her.

The War is won, and Hermione Granger is back at Hogwarts as an Eighth Year, feeling reckless and determined to shed her prim bookworm persona. Also returning is Draco Malfoy, universally hated but determined to restore his family's name. Hermione's hopes for a quiet school year are quickly dashed as she contends with mischievous First Years, killer plants, enchanted hair accessories, a totally inappropriate Moaning Myrtle, renegade Death Eaters, a nice vampire, a poorly named study group, a depraved party, and mysterious, threatening blood messages on the castle walls. We have redemption, partial redemption and (sadly or hilariously) no redemption at all. Throw in a snarky, disturbingly attractive Draco with his own secret agenda, and we have a very slow-burn Dramione with a side of who-dun-it. COMPLETE!
