I avoid surfaces with reflections, avoid facing reality. At the sea, where I last washed away my scars only to have them appear in different places, different faces. And so I try comforting myself through imaginary conversations with the people I love. I wonder if in the end, salt calls the ocean home; and I guess that's why drowning has always been part of loving forevermore.

Poetry to me is a way to describe reality. Because everyone sees and experiences everything in different ways. Sometimes, poetry is just an expression of inside feelings and stories. Other times, it's advocating daily struggles in the lives of people all around the world. But in this collection, I've written about the things I notice. These poems mostly don't have any stories. But they have concepts. How you interpret them is up to you, because everyone sees things differently. That's the beauty of poetry. So, here, I present to you: a collection of poems that are from daily inspirations. (with a challenge of writing all these in just a month.) | Started April 30th, 2021 | | Finished May 30th, 2021 | Enjoy!

wilde says, "the books that the world calls immoral are the books that show the world its own shame," / well, for this who is to blame? perhaps it could be the sapphic poetess or the coloured writer / who could it be, for both are fighters it could be the penniless elegist or the muslim poetaster / any artist could be the traitor but nay, it is actually the society itself / for they don't know how to handle the truth of themselves. • extended summary inside • [ 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱; 𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝘆 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝘇 ] [ 𝗽𝗼𝗲𝗺𝘀 & 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗱𝗲 ] [ '𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆, 𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝘇' 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 © 𝘀.𝗴.𝗮𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗻 2021 ] [ 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦 👆🏻 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 @𝘩𝘦𝘺𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘺 ] [ 𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘺 @𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘢𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 ]
