Nico di Angelo is a forensic pathologist, well, training to be one. He spends his days examining dead bodies and learning how they died. Pretty cool, right? Will Solace is training to be a nurse. His goal is to prevent as many bodies from needing to be examined as possible. He wanted to save people. When these two move in together, many adventures follow, because honestly, what else can you expect when two complete opposites try to coexist? As time goes on they learn that maybe they aren't so different after all. Characters belong to Rick Riordan, but the plot and all that belong to me. Solangelo high school au Usually Will Solace doesn't have problems finding friends, but this time everything is different. He gets in a fight his very first day at the new school and he meets Nico di Angelo. Just slowly he understands why the boy keeps pushing everyone away, how broken he is and what he feels for him. Nico felt like Icarus. Fly too close to the sun, and your wings will melt. Fly too close to the sea, your wings will grow heavy. Nico had already flown too close to the sea. He had allowed his infatuation with Percy to rule his life, his decisions, for far to many years. His wings had grown heavy, and he'd drowned. Icarus had made a mistake. He strayed too far, entranced by the kindness of the light. The dark wouldn't be as welcoming, ushering you in with no hesitancy and crossed arms. That didn't work out so well for Icarus. So, Nico would allow this filter, this light, to cover him, shroud him in kindness, and possibility, and warmth. But he would not cross further. He would not succumb to the light only to fall forever into darkness. He would do what Icarus couldn't. Nico di Angelo would not fly too close to the sun. Cover art by viria!

With Nico di Angelo as Will Solace's prisoner for three days in the infirmary, Nico has to quickly adjust to all the attention he gets from Will, along with the rest of the camp. Nico has to deal with other people's problems, especially when he doesn't want to. He has to quickly learn how to build relationships with other campers from the ground up, and even though Nico is banned from using his 'Underworldy' powers, he's still a demigod, and danger and adventure are always at his heels, even at camp! I DO NOT OWN THE COVER PICTURE. WHOEVER DID IT IS AMAZING BUT IT WAS NOT ME. *I also do not own any of the characters except the ones I make up!* I swear it gets better than at the beginning! I'm in the process of rewriting this story because this turned out really badly in my opinion so be aware of that while you read :). Nico di Angelo is a sophomore in highschool, he doesn't have many friends and talking isn't one of his strong suits. His routine life of staying indoors and being quiet is interrupted by something, well, someone. Will Solace. He's finally been released of his crush on Percy- yet he refuses to fall for the one and only Will Solace. Many of his closest friends know his sexuality, yet he's aware of the way people always stand clear of his presence. He can't stand the sneers he continues to receive around Camp Half-Blood and isn't bound to add his sexuality to the list of reasons why people judge him. Meanwhile, Will Solace is the brightest and most lackadaisical character placed around Camp Half-Blood. He's denying every tingle that the new Di Angelo delivers to him every time they simply chat or hang out. He's dreading trudging down that road again. {Currently under some extreme editing. When you turn 14, you get a tattoo that describes your soulmate. As you spend more time with them, it gets more detailed. But when you kiss your soulmate for the first time, you tattoo glows and shows their name. But this only happens when it is love and love only. (So if you just kiss someone to kiss them then your tattoo won't glow) As for your soulmate dying, your tattoo turns black and shows a small picture of them with their name under. After three days it goes away and you never get another tattoo. Disclaimer: I do not own the PJO or HoO characters. I wish I did though, but sadly that title belongs to Uncle Rick. I also do not own any songs, bands, brands, etc. Also I suck at descriptions. And my writing starts off kinda bad and super short but trust me, it gets better, so yeah.
