Greek mythology is the body of myths and teachings that belong to the ancient Greeks, concerning their gods and heroes, the nature of the world, and the origins and significance of their own cult and ritual practices. It was a part of the religion in ancient Greece. Modern scholars refer to and study the myths in an attempt to shed light on the religious and political institutions of Ancient Greece and its civilization, and to gain understanding of the nature of myth-making itself. Greek mythology is explicitly embodied in a large collection of narratives, and implicitly in Greek representational arts, such as vase-paintings and votive gifts. Greek myth attempts to explain the origins of the world, and details the lives and adventures of a wide variety of gods, goddesses, heroes, heroines and mythological creatures. - This Book of Greek Mythology contains : The beginning of the world : how the world created by the greek myth The Olympian gods : will tell you about the 12 gods of Olympus + 2 (Hades and Hestia) The Greek Heroes : many famous Greek heroes are here including the mighty Hercules, Achilles and Jason. Heyya, I wanted to start this for people who are interested in Wicca, or for those who just wanted to learn more. Wicca is put down a lot in many societies and and is just misunderstood thanks to Hollywood. I found a lot of the information in my own time thanks to the dedicated followers of Wicca. You can read this if you want to, but please keep your comments to yourself if they are negative, Thanks!

Xandria, Samantha, & Lady Gaia's Book of Spells is a list of spell used in the books Rapture, Rapture The Awakening and the other Rapture series of books to come. It is all the spell the Witches uses throughout the stories grouped into one place. They were made up by a real Witch, Goddess LadyDawn, with a few minor changes so as not to insult the spirits of nature by making light of them. I hope you enjoy these spells that were used and check back often for new ones that will be added as the new story has come online. On occasions I may post up a few real spells or chants usually during the Solstice or Imbolic for you to see what I myself as a real witch use in prayers to the Goddess and God up above. Created by me or others with love from the heart for our Goddess up above. By the Goddess LadyDawn

A helpful guide to Greek mythology including the primordials, titans, gods, goddesses, monsters, heroes and more! Things to note about this story is that since I'm writing about real historical mythology, there is of course many, many, different variations, retellings and plots in existence for each one of the myths so I will do my best to comment on and add in variations when necessary, though in some cases I may just stick with the most common, my favorite or the most historically accurate depictions! "If this is just the original myths can't I just go on Theoi?" Well I try to recount all of the myths in an accurate but easy to understand way, which is quite difficult other places, though if you have any questions about anything, please just ask!!
