He was in the hands of Overhall and it didn't stop him from thinking that Kai wasn't a bad person. If he had to choose between saving himself and Eri, then he would go for Eri of course. He would make it happen somehow even if it means suffering on his own. Deku is a feared vigilante. All hero's know his name and shudder at the thought of dealing with him. They fear him even though he has not actually killed a single person. The boy is best known for his skills in gathering information and setting buildings on fire. That's really all Nezu needed to know about the boy. He immediately started his plan to bring the boy to UA.
