This new young adult fantasy/dystopian novel follows the 17 year old Iris- a girl who was born without imagination. But this is not unusual in the land of Itheyla- 95% of the population were also born this way. But when Iris discovers she is not what everybody thought she was she is stuck in a dilemma. Should she succumb to a life of manual labour or fight back against the system that has held her captive her whole life?
