Tan and his grandma talked for a couple hours and then someone walked through the doors. "Oh, my dear you're here. Don't you remember my grandson." Tan turned around and right there in front of him was none other than Fang himself, but Fang just spoke towards grandma.

Fang had tried, and failed, to convince Tan that all those little things meant just as much as the bigger gestures but had finally stopped trying, knowing Tan would probably do what he wanted anyway. But now here he sat in a room filled with decorations, snacks, presents, and no Tan.
