Izaya is haunted by panic attacks, nightmares, and mental and physical illness. What will happen when Shizuo is the only one who seems to be able to cure him?

When a mysterious group is targeting Izaya, there's usually nothing to worry about. The informant, though, hasn't been able to find a single thread of information about his attackers, and they're getting closer by the hour. The stress and anxiety has proved punishing to him, leaving him in a poor state. Shizuo finds himself getting involved in the problem somehow, but is he enough to handle the mob of threats?

For the first time ever Shizuo tells off a certain information broker instead of killing him, the bodyguard goes home thinking his harsh words had no effect on Izaya. How wrong he was.

It started off in school, but now where would it go? Would things continue like they used to, or will things change? Ikebukuro has something strange brewing in its walls...

"Izaya, t-there's something wrong with that child..." It's true, he wasn't normal from the start. Orihara Izaya is a problem child at a very young age. Therefore he was put into an asylum. Izaya doesn't particularly care if he's put in one or not, ass long as he's able to keep sane. And only Heiwajima Shizuo can help him. The only problem is why is Izaya in an asylum? Because he kills, he kills for fun. Why does he kill? Because he loves humans . . . (DISCLAIMER: I don't own Durarara and the photos I used for the cover)

He'd never wanted it to come to this. Set five years after the ending of the anime. Involves assumed unrequited love and is basically just Izaya's inner monologue. One-shot unless I decide to make more.

{TBH probably sounds like basic sad Shizaya shit} Izaya Orihara hadn't been seen in months which had really put Shizuo in a good place until one rainy night he stumbles upon Izaya, going to confront him he realizes things are not what they seem.

Izaya is sick and Shizuo is just finding out (first Shizaya fanfic *don't judge*) ((I am physically incapable of writing smut, so have some of the fluffy stuff!!))
