Paul remembers Christopher Weber from before he went of to UCLA. But the confident and fit young man he ran into on First Beach seems nothing like the boy that he said goodbye to not even a year ago. Christopher has fond memories of Paul but the boy emanates complications and Christopher is just looking to get through the summer. That doesn't make it easier to to resist this grown up version of Paul though. Especially because this time, Paul knows exactly what he wants. Author's note: This takes place in the summer after twilight, right before New Moon. I'm taking some liberty with the moments at which some of the wolves first shift.
