Amity Blight had a strict childhood to say the least. Her family was prestigious and had a very strict way on how to act. Amity never got the freedom and life she wanted. Forced friends, forced smiles, forced dress codes. Amity hated every second of it. But then Luz the human came crashing in, and that ruined everything. Luz changed Amity for the better, and consequently, Amity started to develop feelings for the over-excited female. So Amity eventually built up the courage to finally get it out of her mind and confess to her. Unfortunately, it doesn't go as planned.

Homecoming is near at Faraday High School and Sonya Everett wishes she could have the courage to ask out her crush, Roxanne Delaney. Luckily for her, they have some classes together. But the problem is that both her and her Roxanne are girls and she doesn't know if her crush likes girls too. Though unfortunately for Sonya, that is not the only problem she faces while trying to find a way to ask her crush to homecoming.
