The team consists of 8 pups called Chase, Marshall, Skye, Rocky, Zuma, Rubble, Everest and Tracker and their leader being a 14 year old boy named Ryder. These pups have the remarkable ability to use a meteor's energy to give themselves superpowers, making them 'Mighty Pups'. The Mighty Pups are always known for saving the day, but what will happen if they are the ones who need saving?.. When Coral, a 'back up' member and her friends discover the PAW Patrol had gone missing, they must use their newly discovered Mighty powers to unveil the mysteries behind their disappearance.
