It's been a year since terrorists used Magic to destroy the Empire State Building. A year since the world discovered Magicians exist. A year since we had to go into hiding. When terrifying creatures corner her in a cemetery, L is saved by a mysterious beanie-hat-wearing stranger. One who reveals that her one and only friend has been abducted, that her life is in danger and he's her only hope. The stranger leads her into a new world of mystery and wonders. A world that needs her. A world she was always meant to be a part of. A world at war. With a bit of magic, a few new and unusual friends and a tendency to get into trouble, will L be able to defeat the evil that's threatening to ruin the new life she has found? Will she get the answers she's been searching for or will she find only danger in her future?
