Abbadon je takmer 18-ročne dievča s naozaj zaujímavým osudom. Patrí totiž do kráľovskej rodiny, kde sú všetci priamymi potomkami bohov. Do jej sveta patria nielen dvaja bratia a sestra, no aj iné stvorenia, ako napríklad upíry, vlci, trpaslíci, nymfy, draky, anjele a mnoho ďalších stvorení nadprirodzena. Samotná Abbadon však do tohto sveta nezapadá. Jej rodina má byť pohonným svetlom a dobrom pre všetky tieto bytosti. No ona narozdiel od svojich súrodencov a rodičov má na svet iný pohľad a rozhodne sa odlišuje aj jej schopnosťami. Dokáže ovládať pekelné kone a psy, ktoré okrem samotného Lucifera nikoho ešte nikdy neposlúchali. Narozdiel od svojho dvojčaťa Aarona, si rada robí výlety do pekla, do ktorého má zo všetkých pozemských bytostí prístup iba ona. Medzi ľudí chodí nerada, keďže všetci sa na ňu pozerajú so strachom v očiach. Nie je totiž bežné, aby sa v kráľovskej rodine narodil niekto s temnotu v srdci. No deň vyhlásenia nového kráľa alebo kráľovnej spomedzi jej súrodencov, vrátane samotnej Abbadon, sa neodkladateľne blíži. Situáciu neuľahčí ani vodca upírov Dorian, spolu s vodcom vlkov Noamom a trpaslíkom Ketutom, ktorí prichádzajú na dvor so správami, že čoraz viac temných síl z pekla začína prenikať do sveta. Abbadon má pred sebou veľa úloh, no háčikom je, že jej sila sa stále zväčšuje a postupom času ju začne naozaj zabíjať. -táto kniha obsahuje rovno dve časti (keďže autorka je lenivá vytvárať druhú knihu)
