Capitol High was anything but normal. You had your jocks, your nerds, and the typical peer pressure in life to work around. For Cato Zane Marshall and Clove Denise Kingston they were the typical friends who grew up together at a young age and always stood by the other. From a drunk father to one who had serious medical issues. But because of that they could always count on the other to be there for the other. We all know about the story of the starcrossed lovers, how peeta shocked the Capitol and how Katniss slowly fell in love with Peeta. But what if there are different stories inside the same arena. There were more tributes than the starcrossed lovers. Cato grew up in District 2. He belongs to one of the poorest people of the district. His neighbourhood is the same of the District. An alcoholic as a father, drug addicts as his mother and father and being abused by his parents is a small description of his past. Cato has the chance to bring honour to the family. Every year some peacekeepers search the District for children who possibly could be future winners but who aren't signed up for the Academy through some issues. Cato was one of the picked children. This is the 74th annual Hunger Games through Cato's eyes.
