Paris Wills is a dreamer. His father always said he got it from his mom, an artist who was unlike any other. Her virtue was painting, and Paris' is poetry. No matter where he is, Paris finds inspiration for his poems. In the summer after his sophomore year of high school, Paris finds his biggest inspiration yet, one to overshadow his mom's untimely death. Paris has met Grayson Pierce, the new boy next door, who is not only friendly but also incredibly cute. With his blond waves and charismatic smile, Grayson has found a new place in Paris' heart. Still, Paris cannot help but wonder if his budding love for Grayson is merely one-sided. For now, Grayson's only friend is Paris. Yet, when school starts again after the summer, will he stick around? In order to ensure that Grayson stays, Paris must make one of the most difficult choices of his life. Should he play it safe and ignore his romantic feelings or take a chance and let himself bathe in color? 💕 Featured on @BACommunity "LGBTQ+" reading list. 💕 Featured on @BullyingPrevention "LGBTQIAP+ Pride" reading list. 💕 Featured on @ComeAndSitWithUs "#LGBTQIAP+ - I am who I am" reading list. 💕 Featured on @cupid "Love Conquers All" reading list. 💕 Featured on @CupidsBookClub "Eros" reading list. 💕 Featured on @CupidsBookClub "Cupid's Arrow (Summer 2020 Edition)". 💕 Featured on @FreeTheLGBT "Coming of Age" reading list. 💕 Featured on @Romance "Young Love" reading list. 💕 Featured on @YA "Love, Actually" reading list. 💕 #1 in poem (out of 151K stories). 💕 #1 in gaycharacters (out of 229 stories). 💕 #3 in teenager (out of 33.1K stories). 💕 #3 in cupid (out of 3.2K stories). ⚠️ Trigger Warning ⚠️ This story depicts loss, grief, drug addiction, depression, and suicide. He's smart, ruthlessly pragmatic, and he's got a kickass best friend to boot. His life isn't perfect, but with only one year left until graduation Jonah faces a very serious dilemma when he's volunteered to tutor the school's star quarterback. No amount of fast talking or quick thinking will save him from this cliché, and when he's already up against a distant father, an overbearing guidance counselor, and less than helpful peers, can he somehow learn how to get along with the arrogant but hot jock? Whatever he does, Jonah knows one thing for sure--he's in for one hell of a ride before high school's over. ▪️ *REVIEWS* "...a literary juggernaut masquerading as harmless teen fiction, drawing you in with promises of fluffy clichés only to eviscerate you and leave you emotionally scarred when you let your guard down. 10/10, by far one of the best books I've read on Wattpad. Would absolutely recommend." "I read this book all in one day and I have to say, this is one of the best books if not "the" best book I've ever read on Wattpad. It honestly is an amazingly crafted masterpiece. So relatable and everything but cliché." "I can confidently say that this book is a masterpiece !!! BRAVO just bravo 👏👏👏 No book has ever made me feel this emotional and invested in fictional characters that do not exist like this one does."

Jake Gallagher has always lead a particularly average life outside of the antics of his unconventional family. Average grades, average friends, and the average teenager's aversion to familial embarrassment, until his life takes a turn for the unexpected. Because sitting three rows and catercorner from Jake in his astronomy class is Skylar Glass. The insightful, attractive, interesting, starry-eyed juvenile delinquent, whose existence exceeds average in Jake's opinion. Skylar introduces Jake to the other side of life, gives him a new reason to look at the sky, and leaves a trail of stardust that prevents Jake's existence from ever being average again. "I can't. I couldn't, even if I wanted to, which I do!" Hayden scoffed. "And why's that? Did you superglue it to your face?", he quipped, eyes trained on the masked vigilante in front of him. "I- no!", said vigilante countered, gloved hands gesticulating wildly in exasperation. "I can't take it off because if you saw my face, if you knew who I am, then you'd be in danger!" Sometimes, Hayden wondered, if the dumbass standing in front of him was the same person that was taking on the Sinister Six on his own. "You've been coming to my apartment every morning, all suited up, in broad daylight. I think you've already put me in enough danger for a lifetime, so I think I can handle a little more." _________________________________________ Hayden hadn't known what to do when New Yorks most notorious vigilante kept appearing on his balcony. Falling in love with him hadn't been on his list.
