Alex Jeong is just a regular Korean American when he finds out his parents' business goes bankrupt. He soon finds out the Zhang family bought their business. He then realizes that their son, Daniel Zhang, goes to his school. He holds a grudge to Daniel until, in his period 1 language arts, he has to work with him because of a project. As Daniel tries to befriend him, Alex gives him a chance. He realizes Daniel has a similar personality to him. Soon after, they become strangers/enemies when Daniel suddenly gets a girlfriend. With a change of events, will Alex eventually be with Daniel or will his grudge takeover.
