Thousands of years ago, the great and powerful city of Atlantis existed in all its full glory on Earth. Today, Atlantis is but a historical ghost and the only remnant of that myth of a lost nation is a girl called Ava, who walks silently among the people of present-day Earth; an enigma, a curse. For Ava Kinski has an undiscovered role in the sullen events that has captured the planet - the arrival of the same unknown invaders from the heavens that destroyed Atlantis a long, long time ago... Caught in the seemingly uncanny events is a Alec Archer and his friends; their worlds colliding with Ava, as they are unknowingly thrust in a quest for the truth that will take them to the legend that is Atlantis and to worlds away in time and space, in a magical universe they never knew existed as they are embroiled in a sinister plot of epic proportions. And the question they all have to ask - is Ava a friend or foe? This is the untold story of Atlantis. Please note this work is raw and unedited so sorry for the many mistakes. This is an original work, not a fan fiction, nothing to do with Aquaman, Disney's Atlantis or Stargate. Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to any photos/ media used on here

In a world where nothing comes for free, the only thing that can't be bought is a real, human connection, and the only thing of true worth is an honest word. But when forced to make a choice between doing the wrong thing for the right reason, and doing the right thing but forsaking those you love, can there ever be a right decision? In the city of Eos, the lines between black and white, right and wrong, love and hate, all blur together like the bright neon lights that bask the dark streets in their mesmerizing glow. And where black and white meet, a world in monochrome is born. Theo has long since abandoned his career as a cybercriminal, and an important promise made in the past keeps him tied to the life of a law-abiding citizen. But when his talents catch the attention of the enigmatic hacker group 'Electric Eye' and their charismatic leader Nova, he is forced to question his own sense of right and wrong, the morality of his actions and the ties that bind him. ____ This story will tell the tale of Nova, a character from "Against the Tide": https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/143490393-against-the-tide-a-new-elysium-story (reading this first is recommended to understand the context) Both stories are spin-offs to @Red_Leasia 's "New Elysium" https://www.wattpad.com/story/106699395-new-elysium (not absolutely necessary to understand this story, but recommended)

Twenty-five years ago the Vardeshi came to Earth. Then they vanished without a trace. Graduate student Avery Alcott always knew they would return. When they do, she's the only one who can speak their language. She's quickly recruited to join the crew of an 11-man starship on a one-year mission into the depths of space. Avery leaps at the chance to leave behind everything she's ever known. Wearing a Vardeshi uniform, adapting to their culture, following their orders, she's as close to being one of them as she'll ever be. But there's more to interstellar diplomacy than knowing the right words to say. And shedding her identity turns out to be harder than she expected. When her ship, its crew, and the fragile human-Vardeshi alliance are threatened, Avery's humanity-the very thing putting her at risk-just might be the one thing that can save her.

A possible future in less than 500 words, if plastic wins. This was my entry for the WattPad/National Geographic #PlanetOrPlastic competition back in late 2018. It reached their Top 10 Submissions which, given that there appeared to be well over 5000 entries, was a very pleasant surprise! The competition itself had a limit of 500 words so, for those who keep asking if I intend continuing the story, the answer (for now!) is no - unless I can find a very good reason for adding any more. Many thanks to everyone reading and voting on this story and getting it to number 1 in the #sciencefiction category in May/June 2020! I did try to thank the voters individually on their pages but Wattpad have a daily limit on the number of times I'm allowed to do that and there are now too many of you (not that I'm complaining)! Here's the top 10 submissions page: https://www.wattpad.com/list/738243473-planetorplastic-top-10-submissions If you want to read the story in Polish please head over to https://www.wattpad.com/story/236405960-m%C4%85dro%C5%9B%C4%87-staro%C5%BCytnych-t%C5%82umaczenie-pl where @juliatlumaczy has done a fine job - thank you, Julia! @juliatlumaczy has now sent me a version of the cover she used for her Polish translation - thanks again, Julia! @alex_sokolova has also translated the story into Russian as well. You can read that here: https://www.wattpad.com/976002417-мудрость-древних - many thanks, Alex! We now have a third translation! @AlfonsoLucassen has kindly translated it into Spanish and you can find it here: https://www.wattpad.com/1063634347-la-sabidur%C3%ADa-de-los-antiguos

It's been seven months, seven months of no human contact, scavenging resources from nearby towns that are slowly crumbling to dust. The United Rebel Front led a planetary scale rebellion among many countries and were against the UN itself. That lead to a planetary war called the 'Insurrection War'. A biological weapon was created and was used on the front lines to turn soldiers into monsters, but they couldn't keep control of the monsters....and that led to a zombie outbreak. Now I live alone in the Forest away from the zombies and other humans. I've been turning insane or is it that's what I'm thinking that I am turning insane but anyways, I am alone...that's what I thought anyways. (Idea & Inspiration of this zombie apocalyptic story goes to @CrystalScherer) -The Virus Within [Similar Hierachy] (And the idea came partly from resident Evil) {Ranked #13 for 'Main' at 10th of July 2018}
