In the new season, it's summer break! The Wildcats leave the hallways of East High for the ultimate summer at Camp Shallow Lake, a family-owned sleepaway camp in California. However, when Zach Roy opens a big-money, state-of-the-art Camp North opens across the lake, it lures away many instructors and campers - putting the future of Camp Shallow Lake in jeopardy. In order to save their summer, the Wildcats challenge Camp North to a national theater competition. With a high-stakes production of Descendants 3 and EJ's behind-the-scenes "docuseries" of the production in the works, the Wildcats will attempt to show who is "best in show." Joining the Wildcats are several new exciting characters. Jessie, a sneaky, smart, and edgy girl who has a love for music. Harper, a smart, sweet, and creative girl whose creativity could be of help to Miss Jenn. Byran, Kourtney's younger brother with who is very close. Val, a confident and funny college student, and longtime camper turned counselor-in-training, who is ready to choreograph the summer production of Descendants 3. Nora, a passionate, loving, and independent girl and an old friend of Nini. Dewey Wood, camp director of Camp Shallow Lake, and Miss Jenn's brother. These high-schoolers are ready to put on their third epic play, but their rival school, North High isn't gonna let them off the hook so easily. Zach Roy, who's not letting them off them get away with dropping out. Lily, who's trying to get back on Ricky's good side, or for something else. Antonio, who's still into Ashlyn. Steve, an athlete like EJ. Riley, a great singer but a competitive girl. Anna, a bold girl who strives for the spotlight. And Shawn, a charming athlete who forms an interest in Nini. Wildcats are ready to gear up for the ultimate summer experience, complete with campfires, summer romances, and curfew-less nights. Ricky, Nini, Kourtney, and Big Red are ready for their senior year while Gina, Ashlyn, Kaden, Seb, Carlos, and Bryan begin their junior year. And of course, EJ is taking a gap year, trying to navigate his way through the world beyond high school. On their first day back, Miss Jenn announces that after the success of High School Musical, Beauty and the Beast, and Descendants 3, Miss Jenn and the principal are offered a chance to take East High their legendary musicals to a broadway! On the heels of their wild success, the gang rallies up, pulling in EJ as well as they prepare for Broadway. But it might not all go as planned when they have to team up with Zach Roy, Lily, Antione, and the rest of the students from North High. Stuck working with their enemies, the gang will bring their A-game, trying to put away their rivalry. Ready to risk it all, the crew immediately begins making plans. Nini can't wait to head to Broadway as she waits for her first Album "Beauty" to be released. Still heartbroken over Lily, Ricky tries his best to focus on the Musical and his music. Kourtney debates whether Howie is serious about their relationship, and Gina and EJ decide it'll be the perfect trial run for their relationship, as EJ is now out of college. Carlos can't wait to help Miss Jenn prep for the Broadway musical, and Seb will have to face his anxiety. With a high-stakes production of Frozen and a behind-the-scenes "docuseries" of the production in the works, the Wildcats will attempt to show who is "best in snow" without leaving anyone out in the cold. However, the Wild Force's plan to leave super heroics behind for a few months is quickly scrapped when an old friend of EJ's dad informs them about an accident that has opened the door to a mysterious madness called "the Multiverse." When multiversal monsters, variants, and more begin to emerge as a terrible threat looms above their heads, they begrudgingly agree to help explore the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse. But the one you thought could be your greatest ally could become your greatest threat. While putting on a high-stakes production in hopes of making this the best summer ever, the Wildcats will have to deal with the fight their own worst enemies in the multiverse, powerful threats...themselves. Ricky must learn the importance of accepting his grief as his truth before he becomes like his own corrupted variant. Nini must learn how to make a name for herself to achieve her dreams, being ready to risk it all for her future before it's taken from her. Gina must learn how to start her life where she is, tearing apart her walls permanently for her new family. EJ must learn what it means to truly means to be himself, taking a stand and facing his varients to step into his own.
