As people grow up, their responsibilities increase and so do the difficulties in their lives. University/College students face a lot of obstacles throughout their lives: society pressure, anxiety, stress and even handling responsibilities at a young age. These obstacles scar an individual for a long time. But, scars fade away eventually or....do they? Vivian Jenkins, first year (freshman year), has just joined uni where it challenges her with many hurdles in the long distance race of life. Just another short story! This story is written from the point of view of an INR 500Rs. note in India. The newly manufactured 500Rs. note travels from person to person as it discovers more about life and its hardships. Many of us already know about the demonetization policy enforced by the Indian Government in 2016. For those who are unaware, the Demonetization act was enforced to ensure that black money in India would be reduced to a greater extent (tho, i believe that it didn't really make a difference and instead the economy dropped). In this policy, old notes of 500 and 1000 were exchanged for new and modified once. Let's run through the life of this one particular note and try guessing what happened to it after demonetisation? Did it die a gruesome death? or did things turn around to pave a new way for the note?

A short detective story with a tint of Indian mythology and adventure. These all scenes take place in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This story revolves around a man named Vinay Desai who had dreamt of becoming a detective since childhood and now was finally able to fulfill his dream, he was assigned a new case which was unable to be solved by local police and the murder were not stopping. His well known new case partner and an officer Shakti Sanmukh brings an unexpected twist of mystery in Vinay's case leaving it suspense till the very end. Enjoy my first short story.....
