My heart was in my ass, but I suddenly became in unable to remove my eyes from his gaze. "Bey, you good?" I heard my best friend, Meg, ask tapping my arm. I looked at her quickly, then back at him. He was nowhere to be found. "Uh yeah, I'm good." I nodded. I do not know what happened in that moment, but all in all, it made me feel out of sync and confused. I tried hard not to let it bother me, but it was something about the way his eyes stared into mine for the ten seconds I was caught into his gaze. I could not shake the feeling.
