Hotaru is the twin sister of Izuku Midoriya, but she surprisingly manifests a quirk unlike Izuku who remains quirkless. The doctors are unsure of why this is, but it's made Hotaru protective of her younger twin brother to the point where she is constantly fighting other students. Hotaru and Inko are at odds because of her behavior and Hotaru's self-esteem is at an all time low when she saves a fellow student on their first day at U.A. gaining her first friend. Hotaru Todoroki shared a lot of things with her twin brother Shoto, but their Mother's beloved Ice Quirk wasn't want of them. Regardless of appearance, the girl couldn't create ice at all. Yamaguchi and Yachi are dating and Tsukishima thought he was ok with it. Then he suddenly starts to cough and vomit flower petals which are a sign of one-sided love. He doesn't have the money to get the flowers in his throat removed so his only option to tell Yamaguchi how he feels. If he doesn't tell him the flowers will continue to grow and Tsukishima will die.
