"Burning Ice" is a sports romance that dives deep into obsession, passion, and the clash of two very different worlds. Billie Carter, 23, has learned to survive on her own terms. After a tough upbringing, she's built a life for herself, working as a dancer to make ends meet. Confident, curvy, and unapologetically herself, she's used to attention-just not from someone like Nate Griffith. A grumpy, ruthless pro hockey player, Nate is a man haunted by his past, and when his teammates drag him to a strip club to get his mind off life, he's not prepared for the fire that is Billie. Their connection is immediate, though neither of them is ready to admit it. As Nate's obsession with Billie grows, he'll do anything to claim her-but Billie's not easy to control. As they navigate the heat between them, both will have to confront their darkest secrets and decide how far they're willing to go for love-and for power. "Burning Ice" is a slow-burn romance that explores the boundaries between desire and control, with a fiery chemistry that ignites when two broken souls collide. **Again, this book is a SLOW burn, it will start out a little slow with the main characters dealing with a lot of complicated emotions and life events. as I'm trying to make the timeline as realistic as possible. Please keep that in mind and enjoy the journey**

Watson was rather good at that, considering that no one knows about the stuff he deals with at home. Elijah Andrews, one of the wealthiest kids in the school, but doesn't necessarily describe Elijah, no, that describes his financial state. Elijah's not stupid, he knows his friends are pretty fake, seen the drooling stare with money in their eyes, blinding them from seeing Elijah as something more than walking money. Elijah had a busy schedule, which was probably why he never noticed Watson, the small cello player in the school's orchestra. He never saw the guy who sat in the back of his classes, never speaking a word to everyone. But neither did anyone else, if they had, maybe they would have noticed the bruises covering Watson's arms from a mixture of bullies and his drunken father. What happens when the school's wealthiest attendee notices the quiet cello playing boy with too many unexplainable bruises?

This is the rewritten (better!) version of Boys Will Be Boys DISCLAIMER: This book will contain foul language and general idiocy. I started writing this almost six years ago, and many of the writing techniques and actual content are no longer representative of me as a writer. Nonetheless, I do hope it makes you happy to read. CW/TW: (internalized and general) homophobia, other TWs are specified as needed in chapters *** "You good Keke?" I felt a hand slap my back and looked up excitedly, lips splitting into a grin when Lukas dragged a stool over next to mine. He nudged me with his shoulder, a small smile on his lips. "Don't fucking call me that, and yeah, 'm alright," I yawned, resting my head on my forearm and leaning so I could meet Lukas' eyes. "Just tired and sore" I admitted, letting my legs dangle so I could knock them into Lukas' in a repetitive pattern. He looked down in surprise, which soon turned to determination as we waged a silent war between who could kick each other harder and evade the other's attack. "Yeah, I'm still sore from last night too" Lukas murmured, wincing when I got him in the shin. "Same here" DJ piped in, echoed quietly by Roger who was still lost in his own world. "You guys make it sound like we had a massive orgy last night"
