Two young girls, Tessa and Mariah navigate life. First, they meet before they Were born! That's right, their parents move next door to one another, and their moms become great friends and help each other navigate pregnancy. Their dads are great mates too. They go on through Kindergarten to high school, as best mates. The trouble is, they are falling madly in love with one another without even realizing it. It takes them on an epic journey, of finding that one person in the world that would lay their life on the line for you, and become the love of your life. Finally, after what seems like a lifetime, they get to the point where they eventually express their feelings for each other.

Mariah and Tessa arrive back at the hotel after Abby receives news about Chance. They deserved more of a reunion than they were given. So glad that Mariah apologized though. I wish Y&R would write for Teriah more equally and let their relationship progress. They should have everything all the other couples get. It's the principle of it.

Mariah awakes still in captivity but she is not alone. Based on the Soap Opera Digest spoiler picture for a scene assumedly going to take place the week of August 9th 2021. I feel like I need certain things from Mariah in order to be okay with Teriah again. I need her to acknowledge she hasn't been putting Tessa first, I need her to be more grateful for Tessa, and treat her accordingly. I keep trying to give them that in these stories because I want that for them even in fiction.
