Frank Iero meets a priest after being caught in a storm. But this priest turns out to be something that Frank thought was impossible, but then again, everything is not what it seems. No one is who they seem to be. Never know if someone is human or not.

Coffee-holic Gerard Way works in a little paint store called Brush Strokes. He was minding his own business, when punk school boy Frank Iero comes waltzing in! Gerard having recently applied for a part time art teachers job at Frank's school, they become good friends, even though Gerard and Frank would like it to be more than that; they know that's it's wrong- right? Frank meets Gerard's brother and his friend Ray, who are: interesting characters and take Frank out of his comfort zone, but try to help him win Gerard over and become his boyfriend! Will the plan be successful? They'll face many heart clenching challenges and defeats. Whose to say they'll make it out alive?

Frank and Gerard are just strangers to each other until a bench and a scarf brings them together. Every year they visit the bench but some visits are more important than others.

Gerard draws dicks for a living. Frank takes them. Gerard Way moves into a new apartment in a dodgy complex where he's bound to get beaten to a pulp after his old place is set on fire by those damned 'youths', and by a certain turn of events, his neighbour, the equally provocative, yet entirely in a different way, Frank Iero, ends up in his bed, and then, everything just really goes to shit.

Gerard has had a tough life. Drugs and alcohol drove him to the point of mental illness. Now Gerard is over his addiction, the illness almost non-existent, and he's just starting his new life with Frank. What will happen when new people, new tragedies and new questions are thrown into their lives? [there wasn't supposed to be a sequel but it was requested. oh well]

Gerard is a talented magician, responsible for much of the success of the famous Envision Destiny cruise ship. He's also one of those people. You know, one of those people who just seem to take up all the space they come across with their arrogance and confidence. You wouldn't wanna touch their personality with a 10-foot pole, but still people admire them. That is beyond Frank. Working behind the cruise ship bars and seeing Gerard pretty much every day, he can't understand what's so great about him. Besides, everybody else doesn't have to deal with his snide remarks and rude comments. Because if there's one thing Gerard seems to love, it's the act of constantly pestering Frank. Gerard couldn't stop himself...He didn't want to.He just threw his head back and allowed the liquid to spark a fire in the back of his throat as he consumed it.He was losing himself more than should be humanly possible. And he didn't care. That's all he knew now. Alcohol and drugs. But without his main addiction that had been taken from him,he was slowly destroying himself. He was becoming a monster. Gerard needed Frank.

~HAS BEEN REWRITTEN. CHECK OUT BORN TO LOSE 2.0---- The boy hadn't even seen Gerard coming towards him until Gerard stepped on a fallen branch, making a 'crunch' sound. Gerard screamed a silent 'fuck' in his head as the boy's tear streaked face snapped up, locking eyes with Gerard's. His intense hazel eyes held so many emotions it was hard for Gerard to distinguish whether the boy was doing this out of anger or sadness, "Go away," the words were laced with venom but they also shook with emotion so strong that Gerard wanted to cry as well.
