WINNER OF THE AFRICAN AWARDS 2019 South African teenager Naledi Tau is a young girl that deserves to be admired by many being the oldest of three kids after her brother is killed, she focuses on her school work and strives to excel in everything she does but don't get her wrong she is not your typical "nerd" she is a loud-mouthed, opinionated township girl struggling and fighting to leave the dusty slums of modern South Africa. Dian van Wyk a South African teenager as well after he suffers the horrendous loss of his father and disappearance of his sister he loses himself in grief. After a series of events, the two finally meet and it's like magic and all the words a poet could use to describe the sense of peace they finally bring one another... until everything seems to go wrong. Our dear Naledi whose name means Star, her life seems to get scattered in pieces and so does everyone's life around her, will there be a happy ending for the two? This is an interracial story which is set in South Africa. This is a purely South African book with South African jargon and lingo which will be translated if need be. Enjoy. P.s I really wish this was your stereotypical teen romance. But it's not. Get ready for a bit of action. ↓ Book contains: Sex scenes (very few though) Swearing Racism A bit of homophobia Gang violence Mention of abortion. And violence in general.

That doesn't change the fact that life will always have its own tragedies. Obstacles are meant to make one stronger and wiser and so one can live to be a happy woman/man.
