The Eldar say that those who marry late have strange fates and love certainly came late for Amaruil Celebrindal, a noble Sindar, friend of Arwen Undomiel and the love left behind in Rivendell as the Fellowship left to destroy the One Ring. Aragorn was not the only member of the Fellowship who was fighting for an elf.

Our story follows a Hobbit by the name of Marlena Rowen-Baggins. A resident of the Shire, at the age of six she was taken in by Bilbo Baggins after he had found her wandering alone far away from her home. At age eight, she was officially adopted by him. Ever since, she has become close to some of the Baggins family, particularly her adoptive father, Bilbo, and adoptive brother, Frodo Baggins, who is also Bilbo's nephew. Marlena's story begins on the day of Bilbo's 111th birthday, a day that will change her life, and Frodo's, forever. She cannot recall how she got there, why she might be there, or even what her own name is. Unsure and afraid, she must force herself to trust the unusual man to lead her across Middle Earth to Lothlórien, where it is said that the lady Galadriel can give her answers about her identity and her purpose, which could very well change the course of her world's history.
