Hi guys So, hope you are buckled up for a high voltage emotional and suspense drama along with some erm..saucy romance. Addicted is a story inspired from the cast of an Indian show with the characters of Virat and Manvi. However, this isn't a fan fiction as the characterization of the protagonists is heavily derived from the Fifty shades trilogy, but not really. I simply love E.L.James and sometimes, how much ever I try I cannot help quoting her or using her as an inspiration. Readers who have read Fifty shades will find a few similarities and even scenarios similar to the novel, but not really. There are about 30 parts in in. Hope you like it.

Once upon a time, men and women entered marriage with very clear policies regarding the division of labour: he would go to work and "bring home the bacon," while she would stay at home and cook, clean, and raise the children. Things aren't the same as they used to be. Modern Indian romance, intimacies, and marriages are far more complicated than assessments and reality television shows portray. In India, arranged marriages are an unique and complex process. People seek a 'soulmate' with whom they can spend the rest of their lives, but they also have specific expectations of the potential bride or groom. There is a strong narrative about finding love, compatibility, and connection, but what stands out is a real intent to replicate class identities beneath all of this. In a country that depends on a spending population, "middle class" is a necessary armour, a shared language, a value system, and, more importantly, a way of life. Life may be unjust, irritating, and disarmingly disappointing on most days. Being middle class, on the other hand, creates character in a culture obsessed with the need to be a part of the rat race. Marriage also places the onus of making sacrifices, concessions, and making the marriage work on the couple. This tale illuminates the unseen and underappreciated aspects of an Indian arranged marriage, the life of a middle-class wife and husband and their shared responsibilities as they navigate through life. Immense amount of desi tadka awaiting your way. *I don't own the illustration on the poster.*

He was fire - fierce, possessive, and dangerously irresistible. She was the calm he never knew he needed. He didn't ask for her heart. He just... took it. And now, he won't let her go. Not when she breathes in his name. Not when her body remembers his touch. Not when every heartbeat screams - she is his... and only his.

The story is set in early 1990s in a rural area. A bond is formed due to the promise of honour and respect. A marriage out of necessity and maybe a little bit of obsession. A girl filled with the hope of love and a guy completely enamored by her. How will their life unfold? ☆Warning :This story contains mature themes. It is completely fictional and based upon my imagination. It is inspired by the serial named "Begusarai". But only inspired, the story is completely mine. As I said before this is based in a rural area so am just giving you guys a heads up if anybody feels offended. Readers discretion is advised.
