She has some trouble adjusting to the Salvatore School, again. Ryan tries to help Hope by getting to know her family. Her Uncles, and father are very much not accepting Ryan into the family just, yet. Landon only has a crush on Hope, but falls apart when he sees her with Ryan. What will her father and Uncles do to Ryan? What will Hope do once she finds out Ryan is Landon's brother? Will Ryan, and Landon become brothers again, after their falling out? What will the students at the school do? What does her best friends think?

Hope was plagued with the demons of her past, and the mistakes she had commited. Ryan was drowning in the choices he had to make in desperation to save someone. Both were just trying to overcome their past, live in the present and fight for their future.
