Many readers ask what level of education this is set in (i.e. middle school, high school) but I'm English so I've used our education system. This is set in a secondary school that also has a sixth form. Secondary school has students from age 12 (their age when they start in year 7) to age 16 (year 11). Sixth form has students from age 16-18, sometimes 19 if students stay back a year (this is years 12 and 13). Cas has a year 7 class, and Dean has a year 13 class. Nothing serious occurred, but Dean was required to spend the next few days under observation. While he is spending his time in the hospital of utter boredom, he meets Castiel, a young man the same age as him as a patient of cancer. Forming a quick bond, he begins visiting the boy even when he gets out, but is something more going on?

Castiel Novak is the most popular boy at school. He has tons of money, a sweet car, and is a star football player. Dean is an artist who is known by few at his old school and even fewer when he moves to Mount Vernon, Iowa. Both think they know themselves, but do they really?

This is a Destiel fluffy AU fanfiction based in a high school. Dean Winchester hates school. He usually spends his time flirting with girls and spacing out in class. But one day a new kid comes into school. His name is Castiel. Little did Dean know, this dorky little scruff is the turning point in his life.
