!Sorta discontinued? Idrk, I might update it if I feel like it but who knows! Varian sat in his isolated cell, staring at the cold stone wall as he wondered why everything had come to this. Everyone in his village, heck even the entire kingdom, thought he was strange. Not because of his intelligence or his obsession with science but because of the unusual blue streak in his hair that had been their for as long as he could remember. Little did he know, that tiny streak held great power and would soon lead him on an adventure greater than he could ever imagine. Warning: There will be minor swearing and triggering themes such as torture and ptsd!!

When Hector goes to Old Corona to visit Quirin, what he finds is not at all what he expects. Now he and a very injured Varian are on the run from the royal guards. For all he said he would never have a family outside of the Brotherhood, his mind is made up: no one is touching his nephew. But the past doesn't die easily, and shadows of days gone by threaten to tear the small family apart. Two lives-the battle-hardened warrior and the child who had to fight for survival-are tossed into the fight again as the war between Sundrop and Moonstone grows ever stronger. Basically I've been obsessed with this AU for many months and I wanted to make stuff for it, so this is it. I'll hopefully write my take on the full story someday, but for now this is what I'm working on. This is a comic book of the Tangled spinoff AU "Varian and the Seven Kingdoms." All art is done by me and you can find them on my Instagram and Tumblr @animagicsalina (currently updating the chapters in parts). Each chapter updated on Wattpad would take around a few weeks to more than a month, so please be patient.

This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!!
