Nya, the youngest sister, wanting to 'fix' their lives, attempts to resurrect their parents with the help of a shady necromancer. Living on an island, however, his only way out will prove to be the arrival of the Misfortune's Keep, forcing him to work under the fiercest pirate of the Endless Sea. Life seems bleak, but upon meeting the sheltered young woman by the captain's side, he'll realise that all he needed to push through was a companion, after all. I DO NOT OWN NINJAGO! Takes place after Rebooted. Due to a misunderstanding, Jay believes that Nya has chosen Cole and leaves the team. While the others are unsuccessfully trying to find him, a heartbroken Nya finds out she's pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's child (which kinda explains her messed-up emotions, irrational behaviour, and sudden dislike for pudding in season 3 😉). Six years later, Jay has left his Ninja life behind and is (more or less) happily working as a primary school teacher - which is where he meets an interesting little girl with lightning powers. In this alternate timeline, Garmadon was never bitten by the Great Devourer. But instead, his brother Master Wu, the King of the Underworld, is now devising a plan so he can wield the Weapons of Spinjitzu and rule over Ninjago. He needs the help of four young boys to retrieve the weapons for him. But first he must train them up and teach them his dark ways. (Cover image is my own)
