This is my first attempt at writing a book and I'm putting the first few chapters on here to see if people like it so please enjoy. A century has passed since the war, and we lost. What's left of the world is a wasteland, barren and dead. The humans are left trying to hide and endure. Large groups do travel across what's left of the earth. They are commonly known as Cogs(Centrally organized grouped survivors). Many are drawn to join them for food, water, and strength in numbers. But very rarely do these groups survive long, for many are wiped out.
