At the beginning of each chapter, you will find a song that inspired me during the writing process (you will mostly find this song in the header section of each chapter as I linked the YouTube videos). Each chapter will have its own song - however, this is not a classic songfic - at least for most parts - but serves me purely as inspiration and "mood base" :) The fic will have Lemon/smut in later chapters. I initially wrote this story in German (my native language) but decided to translate it for my non-German speaking friends :) That being said, I really gave my best in the translation part and I have very high quality standards myself, but should you stumble upon a mistake that totally puts the story off (or even if it doesn't) that you want me to correct, I am more than happy to do so! Despite the dark initial theme, this fic is not intended to be a classic darkfic - the focus is primarily on the development of Seto's and Joey's relationship, accompanied and influenced by past and present experiences of both characters.
