Rocket's plan is simple, get traded to the Wolves, catch a crush, get over it, then maybe date someone for real. He's expecting the crush to be Fenrir, all-star player, golden boy, head captain. It's not. Yeti's plan was harder: keep it quiet until he's out of professional hockey. Ignore it. Don't think about it. Don't act on it. Don't say it. Don't get drunk and let it slip. Don't tell anyone and maybe it will go away. Don't tell anyone and you can ignore it. Then he meets the one person that makes it impossible to ignore. *** WARNING: drinking, heavy language, themes involving internalized homophobia and childhood traumas, sexual content

Pro hockey and girls go together. He hates that. Stephan Sagamore doesn't quite know how he got here: standing in front of a small ballet studio, one of the best defensemen in the NHL, crushing on the girl that teaches his sister how to dance. But if there's one thing that she can't know about him, it's what he does for work. August Heffler minds her own business, working for the province 9-5 and teaching ballet at the studio below her apartment. That is, until a fiery girl joins her elites class and her dorky older brother turns out to be the sweetest engineer she's ever met. *** "I don't really believe in fate but I believe in her and I think that's close enough." *** WARNING: Strong language, drinking, sexual content

"You, Fenrir Von Albrecht, are an aphrodisiac, and I like it." I kiss him again. "I like it too much." --------- Nico is the Regina Wolves' newest coach. She's an ex-Olympic, ex-homeless, hometown hero, and now she's coaching the worst team in the NHL, and getting somewhere with them. Fenrir is just her starting center, but he's something Nico didn't expect to find in her new job, wicked good, wicked smart, and wicked cute. Coach and player dynamics never work, but maybe that's the fun in it for them. --------- "I can't kiss you, Fen," I mumble. "I can't kiss you because I'd never stop once I start." "Then just hold me here," ------- warning: references to/scenes with PTSD and its effects. ___ (less important warnings: strong language, drinking, injuries, and I better just warn you about Ireland now because that boy is trouble.)
