James was in a complete sense of despair. Ever since his encounter with his girlfriend Aria's ex, he's always had this sense of competition with him, a need to prove himself to feel in her league.

He looked over the overpass, as his frost bitten hands gripped the barrier, as he looked over at the passing cars and the blinking lights, before he started humming his song.
