I am not going to talk about what Islam is because that is beyond my knowledge. I want to talk about the part of Islam I know. I want to express my feelings freely. I want to talk about my love for the prophet. I want to share with you my view of the picture because Islam in my perspective is not ISIS nor is it Irshad Manji. Islam is about helping that blind old guy to cross the road. It is about making an orphan smile. It is about making your parents happy and helping them out. It is about smiling at all times. It is about forgiving people when they wrong you. It is about loving for your brother what you love for yourself. It is simply about being a human, a real human. The absurd thing is when a person who doesn't know anything about my faith tells me that I am being oppressed. The question is how dumb do you think I am? Did you really think that all Muslim women are those damsels in distress who need saving from hijab? I love Hijab. I feel secure when I have it on. I feel uncomfortable without it. It makes me happy to do one of the thing that Allah commanded me to do. But if you feel like talking about my rights, then how about you talk about my rights when you insult my religion. You talk about my rights when you massacred my people! Now I have a request, if you are here to mock my religion know that it doesn't make me sad. All I feel is pity for you because you are an ignorant judgmental person who wants to feel good by insulting others and you need help. I suggest that you spend your energy elsewhere. However if you are really interested in finding out the truth, I can point you to some of the good sources I know and be of assistance. This is a story about how I fell in love with Islam and Allah....
