He knows more about her than anyone else (except maybe Jack Kelly). Speedy likes Spot but won't admit it. Spot likes Speedy but won't admit it. The Manhattan Newsies are just ready for them to get together already. But Brooklyn's Newsies would rather Speedy not interact with their leader at all and with the strike happening around them tensions rise.
