Many disliked him, finding him to be very difficult to approach. Given how hot-headed he was, yet the passion he had for swords made him stand out from most of the swordsmiths who made swords for the sake of it. He didn't need anything else. Nor did he need love. He just wanted to create swords after swords. Only to realize he had other feelings, for a particular Hashira. Then many started to question then, why would someone like her fall in love with someone as hot-tempered as him? And how?
