The camera continued its slow zoom until the only thing within the screen was his face. For a moment, the camera stilled. The ghost of a mischievous smirk pulled at his lips before everything cut to black. The 24th tribute. A Hunger Games x Dramione AU.

Six years after the war, Hermione has the picture perfect life. She's married to a loving husband, has the Ministry job she always wanted, and friends that are loyal to the end. So why does she have to glamour away the bruises on her face, as she reaches for her bottle of Muggle pills? No, her life is far from perfect. Draco has lived his life day-to-day for the last six years. After taking over the Malfoy estate from his estranged father and spending most of his time rebuilding the Malfoy name, he realizes he's missing something in his life. That's how he finds himself working alongside a certain Golden Girl, who seems to have lost her fire. Post war Dramione. *COMPLETE* Being translated into Brazilian Portuguese here: https://www.wattpad.com/story/300909032?utm_source=android&utm_medium=link&utm_content=share_writing&wp_page=create&wp_uname=Bru4150&wp_originator=pJ6rw8NWhqXQ9FYK0%2BtsX%2F1KOT%2FqZ2X4gfyaFpc%2FheFNSLaYK1Y4uREQIef2af8FGUQcl8D%2BrmVZbDMUGUvUZaBOo6RqwQL26RqkR34m%2BjK8cTBpKJz4zhVHg%2FjC5Dbr

The Order has fallen. Voldemort has taken over, slowly enslaving the Wizarding World to each and every command. In the aftermath of the war, Hermione Granger has been enlisted as the Dark Lord's right-hand woman after she'd lost all hope on ever avenging her fallen comrades. Her once brilliant mind, now only used as a weapon for destruction. In the years leading to the Order's failure, she'd struck a deal with the Devil himself in order to survive and save all her friends. But when all else fails and there is nothing left of the once bold, bright and beautiful Hermione, it's hard to come back once you've shook hands with the Devil. Slow burn Dramione. The War is won, and Hermione Granger is back at Hogwarts as an Eighth Year, feeling reckless and determined to shed her prim bookworm persona. Also returning is Draco Malfoy, universally hated but determined to restore his family's name. Hermione's hopes for a quiet school year are quickly dashed as she contends with mischievous First Years, killer plants, enchanted hair accessories, a totally inappropriate Moaning Myrtle, renegade Death Eaters, a nice vampire, a poorly named study group, a depraved party, and mysterious, threatening blood messages on the castle walls. We have redemption, partial redemption and (sadly or hilariously) no redemption at all. Throw in a snarky, disturbingly attractive Draco with his own secret agenda, and we have a very slow-burn Dramione with a side of who-dun-it. COMPLETE!

Draco Malfoy has climbed up the ladder to become the Dark Lord's right hand - the High Reeve - and is sent a slave to be the surrogate for the promised Malfoy Heir. She can see the ocean, she can see the glittering sun rays as it shines over the deep blue water and gives it a golden hue that for once she hates. She can hear the waves as they pulse upon the shore in a steady rhythmic beat. The waves come in as the dancing hem of a long and flowing gown and she can hear them crashing on top of each other. She can feel the water as it hits her ankles every five seconds, can feel the cold of the water that after so much time, feels like the fire of the sun. She can smell the fresh and chilly odor of the ocean and she relishes in the strange raw smell that hits her nostrils and invades her nose each time she inhales. She wonders if wanting to taste the ocean is selfish...and she wonders if she even cares that it's selfish. (Dramione one shot)

How did it feel? It felt like he was barely holding it together. She, of all people, should shun him. Or yell at him. Curse him. Spit at him. Take out her wand and blast him off the face of the earth. It was crushing guilt and relief and confusion all at once when he looked at Hermione Granger. The monotony of Draco's daily routine had become both a lifeline and a noose. But this new habit of grabbing morning coffee with Hermione Granger is quickly becoming a reason to get out of bed and is unfortunately forcing him to re-evaluate his inconsequential existence. Hermione is living her life in fragments, separate pieces scattered about, and she can't find a way to step back and let the full picture form. Why is morning coffee with Draco Malfoy the only thing that makes sense anymore? *cover art created by @eternallyreadinggoodthings

**MATURE CONTENT** (Smut alert!) She felt herself lean back into him and he didn't move. "You've been avoiding me, Granger, I've missed you," he told her, his voice barely audible. She swallowed as his hand went around her waist and he brushed his lips along her heated skin. She let out a low sultry moan before she answered, "People don't miss their mistakes, Draco"
