It's my first ever Homestuck RoseMary fan fiction. I got the story by listening to Mayday Parade's song 'Stay' When Rose Lalonde, Seer of Light, loses herself in her constant drinking, Kanaya Maryam can't help but worry she is losing the girl she loves. It's written on both girl's perspective, and Rose isn't that much snooty and smug here because, of course, she's drunk.

Ceana Fernes is a regular geeky, cosplaying, homestuck-loving middle school girl. She has a couple friends but most people avoid her because she's so weird; not that she minds, her friends are great. Her whole world is flipped upside down when homestuck characters start showing up at her school! Sticking together with her great friends, Danny Talon, Julie James, and Duke 'Douchebag' Danes, they take on what is about to come. Unexpected alliances are made after an innocent dare goes terribly wrong. And if that wasn't enough, Karkat finds his Matesprit?! Haha just kidding....or am I? (No seriously I'm kidding). It's another Homestuck RoseMary fanfic. I often like to make the title of the story I wrote by the song I was listening to when the inspiration came. Listen to the song Miserable At Best by Mayday Parade. :) The setting is on Alternia where Karkat Vantas arranged a prom event for the beta kids. It's on Kanaya Maryam's point of view as she tackles on sadness and letting go of her soulmate, for responsibility.
