This is sort of a Veronica Mars fanfic. I love the show and think it would be cool if there was a person in real life who was like Veronica. Writing a story doesn't make it real, but I thought this would be fun. The only references to Veronica Mars and other characters will be references to the show. My main character will seem like her, but I hope some differences are noticeable. Ember Thompson is a high school student with an interesting day job. Instead of flipping burgers or working a register like most teens she works for her dad at his private investigator's office. When one of her classmates is murdered and someone steps from the woodwork and confesses her dad wonders if the real killer has been found. Ember notices a slight discrepancy in the confessed killer's story and agrees with her dad. She utilizes all the skills she's learned as she sets out to find the real killer.

Veronica is in the FBI and comes home to Neptune. LoVe prevails and some unexpected old friends return. Expect the unexpected! Pregnancies, weddings and deaths you know normal Neptune occurrings.

Spoiled heiress Lilly Kane has always felt like she had to put on a mask. She acts like she's a cold callous slut, when in reality, all she wants is for people to love her for her. But then one drunken night she kisses her best friend Veronica, and realises maybe all she ever wanted was right in front of her all along. Problem? Veronica doesn't remember. --- You can read this without any prior knowledge to the show, but I gotta warn ya, it's way more meaningful if you know what happens later on. This story is rated mature because it implies sex between an adult and a teenager (teenager being Lilly is 16. But yeah, slippery slope). And they make-out at some point. Also contains profanity, drinking and more kissing. Major spoilers for season 1.

Found in an alley by Sheriff Mars as a baby and raised by the Mars family as Veronica's cousin..... she became best friends with Mac and Felix and unlike Veronica never became one of the 09ners she didn't "join" ANY of the cliche groups in school.... Vendetta was jailed for beating the boy who tried to rape Veronica at a party and a year later she was released "on good behavior".... She falls in love with Eli "Weevil" Navarro who she mainly saw from a distance before being jailed.... he was "with" her cousins best friend Lilly Kane and since he never approached her she never approached him.... though Felix talked about him constantly.... Eli and Vendetta never officially meet till after she returns to school after her release who even though he also watched her from a far he doesn't seem to remember her.... She was always there for Veronica... when Lily died.... when her mom left etc.... and when she returns a year after the attempted rape she begins to teach Veronica how to protect herself from those who may try again.... ESPECIALLY with Veronica working with her dad as a PI and working many cases of her own... teaching her martial arts and other forms of self defense.... **** for those of you who might get confused I am making some of my smaller chapters a little larger by copy pasting the next chapter into it that is why there are 2 chapter names to some of them****

Ranking #8-veronicamars Celine Echolls is a well-known girl in Neptune, California due to her parents Veronica and Logan Echolls. She dares to be different but just like her mother she loves to help her grandfather Keith Mars in his office. Set in the 3rd season of Veronica Mars, between episodes two and three, this story is faithful to the setting and plots of early season three.
