Living with a bunch of psychopaths isn't so bad. Once you get used to it, that is. Cross has been working for Nightmare for a few years now, and to be honest he's still uneasy and awkward around the others. He was trained to be a royal guard after all, fighting for what's right. But now he's on the side of evil, only for its benefits. Dream lives on the brighter side of life, well, at least tries to. He tries to keep the peace, but with how all his friends behave it isn't easy. He's constantly fighting with his enemy, Nightmare, the parasite whom is controlling his dead brothers body, turning him into a monster. When these two meet, will they form a bond? tras quinientos años de estar convertido en piedra Dream decide salir a explorar el mundo pero Ink le recomienda ir con alguien ya que su hermano Nightmare puede estar tras el, ya que el fue el que lo convirtió en estatua de piedra en primer lugar, así que Ink va en busca de alguien capaz de proteger a Dream. Al regresar vuelve con un esqueleto llamado Cross de X-tale y como en su universo no hay nada mas que el decide sacarlo y convertirlo en guardia real de Dream. Al principio no parece estar convencido de el ya que antes trabajaba para Nightmare para liberarlo de Chara, pero se da cuenta que su sueño es ayudar a la gente y poco a poco le comienza a sentir un cariño hacia el pero ese cariño se convierte en algo mas, bueno que comiense la historia
