Four people. Four lives. Four jobs. They're all involved in a murder that has already been solved, and it's up to them to stop the count of dead bodies before one of them dies. *** Following his suspension, a young and elite assassin who works for a clandestine government agency returns to his hometown. He notices things he doesn't want to see. His thirst for vengeance and hunger for murder fuels his new goal. Kill the person he once cared about. Since his tragic past, an FBI agent turned drifter has been hell-bent on delivering justice mercilessly. The former intelligence agent travels to Santa Monica to right a wrong that may or may not be wrong. An aspiring and young screenwriter who never gives up easily is falsely accused of a crime he did not commit, given the fact that all evidence pointed to the young man. There is no one he can turn to, no one who truly believes him. Until the day before his alleged arrest, he was given the option of going to jail or going with a stranger to prove his innocence. A rookie FBI agent who was recently tasked with going into the field and finding the agency's most valuable asset becomes entangled in a mess after teaming up with the one person she was asked to find. It could be costly for her, putting her limbs, career, and possibly her life in jeopardy. It all started with an indirect murder. Will these four be able to put a stop to it all before it spirals out of control and becomes a Killing Bind? *** Word count: [{85000 words - 95000 words}]

A relic, stolen from the heart of an ancient city. An echo of nationalist violence not seen since the dark days of the Second World War. Budapest, Hungary. When a priest is murdered at the Basilica of St Stephen and the Holy Right relic is stolen, the ultra-nationalist Eröszak party calls for retribution and anti-Semitic violence erupts in the city. Dr Morgan Sierra, psychologist and ARKANE agent, finds herself trapped inside the synagogue with Zoltan Fischer, a Hungarian Jewish security advisor. As the terrorism escalates, Morgan and Zoltan must race against time to find the Holy Right and expose the conspiracy, before blood is spilled again on the streets of Budapest. One Day In Budapest is a chilling view of a possible future as Eastern Europe embraces right-wing nationalism. A conspiracy thriller for fans of Daniel Silva, where religion and politics intersect.

This publication contains my shortened qualification paper for a Bachelor's degree in the last module of my specialization area, linguistics, on the origin and history of Yiddish as well as my Bachelor's thesis comparing the social prestige of Yiddish and Hebrew. Both were graded as "very good". I thought it might be of interest to some or be useful as a starting point for other students. Please keep in mind that these were written during my Bachelor Studies and contain quotes and information from academic sources as well as graphics and pictures taken from academic publications and primary sources. More about this in the preface. Paper "Yiddish, a Language through the Ages" BA thesis "Sociolinguistics of Yiddish and Hebrew: Social Prestige and Instrumentalization of Semitic Languages"
