Harley was 10 when Macy finally passed due to her illness, Abby being only 5 years of age when they found Macy's body still in bed, not breathing. Harley took up the role of Macy and did exactly what his mother would do. He hid Abby behind and under things when his father was angry. They slept in different places every night so his father never quite knew where they were. He used his coin bank to pay for an educational book for all ages. He taught her what he could, let her learn what he couldn't teach on her own. And now, at age 17, he'd be damned if Abby got anything less than she deserved.
