I forgive you. Aziraphale watched as Crowley walked out the door. He'd seen the demon walk out of the bookshop a million times, always knowing that he'd walk right back in the same door tomorrow. This time, the door closed with a stifling sense of irrevocability. This time, Crowley wasn't just walking out of his bookshop. This time, Crowley was walking out of his life. I forgive you. Foolish. Stupid. Cruel. Those hadn't been the words sitting at the tip of his tongue. Far from it. But it didn't matter. Those had been the words he spoke, and he couldn't take them back now. ~oOo~ Or, the one where Aziraphale realises he needs to ask Crowley's forgiveness this time. Meanwhile, Crowley is just trying to make the Bentley stop playing Taylor Swift.

Good Omens. Crowley and Aziraphale pose as husbands for a house party, because Aziraphale is bad at saying no (to anyone but Crowley and anyone trying to buy books). Crowley thinks this is a good chance to prove himself the perfect potential demon husband to a fussy angel. But things get complicated fast. Really complicated. A lot of pining, a lot of shopping and restaurants and party games, some near misses, but no sex until chapter 24 (and all of 25).

Aziraphale would forgive him, of course. He always did. That had always been the Hell of it. It had been stupid to think things would be any different this time. It was a game they had been playing a long, long time, and he was all kinds of fool and idiot if he was going to suddenly start taking it seriously, even if only a few days ago he had thought Aziraphale was dead. Our side. It would be nice, really nice, if there was an *our side.* To be honest with himself, there was nothing in all the universe he wanted more. "I'll pick you up at eight," he repeated to the closed door, and headed back to the flat to take it out on the plants.

This short story (mostly) takes place in Aziraphale's bookshop after he and Crowley's lunch at the Ritz in the finale. The two supernatural entities finally get some things off their chests and try to move on after the apocalypse that wasn't. (This is my own personal headcanon of what goes down after the events of the show. If something seems like it wouldn't really fit in with the canon, don't worry about it, it's just fanfiction.) Apparently my title was too long: Five Miracles Aziraphale Performed Accidentally and One that was Entirely Intentional Only inexperienced angels will become so overwhelmed with feeling that they accidentally perform a miracle. Doing so is laughable. Aziraphale would never! Except that he has... five times now. Every time when he was around the demon Crowley. Why on God's green Earth would a demon make an angel feel so strongly that he would perform accidental miracles? Their kiss continued, brutal and hot. Aziraphale suddenly remembered how his arms worked circled them around the demon's waist pulling him closer. Crowley broke off the kiss with a sharp inhale and moved his head to rest against the angel's. "Tell me to leave, angel." Raw need vibrated through the demon's voice. He pressed his forehead against Aziraphale's. His hands trembled as they cradled the angel's face. He took another ragged breath. "You don't want to do this! You don't want this from me!" Now it was Aziraphale's turn to take a inhale deeply. Their mouths were so close that their breath mingled. He could feel heat from the demon, from their pressed foreheads, down his chest, to his groin. He drained away the minor alcohol in his system and let cold, hard clarity wash over him. This was...dangerous. This was wild and thoughtless. Hedonistic. This should stop. That would be for the best. Safe. Sane. Responsible. "No" Aziraphale's voice ghosted the word. Then bolder, louder, steadier "Stay, please. I want this." He clasped his hands against the demon's and tipped his head back to meet Crowley's eyes. "I want you."
