The Calamity has been defeated, Hyrule is safe. It may take a good while but eventually the Kingdom of Hyrule might once return for the first time in a century. Everything is normal, up until something new appeared on the Sheikah Slate. Something that would not only change Link's life but the lives of those who suffered at the hands of the Calamity. Zelda sends Link to investigate what these mysterious new readings mean. His adventure is not over yet... far from it. Inspired by "Romance is in the Air" by @Azadia_the_Rito (please check them out their works are incredible) I've decided to try my hand at making a fanfic with the endgame being my favorite pairing: Link x Revali. I know it may seem odd to spoil but I want people to know what they're getting into. (BTW this is my FIRST time writing one of these so please bear with me) This will not be a purely romance story but it will be a major part later on. I just really wanted to dive into this wonderful world with my own touch, so here's how I'm going to do it. To start Revali is my favorite character in Breath of the Wild and I think all the champions deserve more story and interaction with Link. This will be taking place after Calamity Ganon's defeat so be wary of spoilers. This will be a SLOW burn and when I mean slow I mean like halfway between a snail and a glacier. Not crazy slow but just enough to make it worth the payoff. I'll say that right now no matter what happens there will be a happy ending because I can't bring myself to write a sad one. Not that it won't get sad along the way, oh no I'm going to take hearts and mince them into a fine chopped stew of emotion. I promise however I will preface anything I feel worth warning about in the beginning of each chapter in authors notes. No matter what happens I just want y'all to know that as long as one person smiles, all the work is worth it to me. Hope you enjoy! :)

Link and Revali were never the best of friends, most people who knew then wouldn't even consider the two friends at all. But once Revali accidentally manages to trap the two in Divine Beast Vah Medoh, they grow to be just a bit more than friends. After all, when trapped inside a Divine Beast all you can really do is get to know each other.

The age-old Rito job of delivering letters throughout Hyrule is one that Revali has never particularly enjoyed but it gives him an excellent cover story to deliver his anonymous own love letters to Link! It's bad, it's cringy, badly ended, it has plot holes and it's in general not well written. I do however know a lot of you love this book... thank you.
