To others, it wasn't that big of a deal, but to Izuku- He just lost the only reason he has to live. He didn't belong in a overpowered population, he was at the bottom of the food chain- Or maybe, he wasn't even there. Taking Katsuki's advice, he realized how little he had to lose, and how his existence didn't make a significance in the world, he didn't belong here, he knew that. So, remembering his childhood friend's advice, he jumped off the roof, saying goodbye to the world he did not belong in. But, fate had different plans. It seems like he didn't belong in the afterlife either.
