The angels have fallen. Castiel lost his grace, and is now a human. He experiences hunger, cold, need, but still pondered at the thought of love. Dean takes him under his wing and helps him understand his new way of life; every aspect. Even though his grace is lost, the affair between a man and an angel is forbidden. Not to mention, an angel and a Winchester. In addition to the internal conflicts between the two, they also have to worry about the bounty put on Castiel's head by the other fallen angels.

Dean Winchester is a local mechanic in the town of Lawrence, Kansas working for Singer Automobiles. On a quick coffee run, he meets Castiel, a high school math teacher with the most beautiful eyes and most adorable personality. Dean immediately introduces himself and asks the young man for his number, but unfortunately Castiel Novak is no where near looking for a relationship. But, Dean is not willing to give up that easily. He meets up with Castiel as much as he can, and keeps trying to ask him out on a date. However, Castiel's past catches up to him, and he can't bear to think about dating again, especially when having to take care of his beloved child, Jack. What happens when Dean doesn't give up? When the Winchester boys entered into New Oak high school, they figured everything would go normally. Castiel figured his senior year would go as his Junior year did. Smoothing sailing.
