🌼 Daisy always knew her world was different. While everyone else heard the sounds of the world-the chatter, the music, the laughter-she only felt the vibrations. Her world was quieter, but in many ways, it was also clearer. She'd learned to embrace her silence, finding beauty in the stillness that surrounded her. Bryson, a young soldier returning from deployment, struggles to adjust to life back home after the emotional scars of war. One day, he stumbles into a small flower shop, where he meets Daisy, a sweet and innocent deaf girl who works there. Intrigued by her quiet strength and the peaceful aura of the shop, Bryson starts visiting regularly. Though they can't communicate easily at first, a gentle bond forms as he begins learning sign language to connect with her and reaching out to her in his own way. His interest is more than just curiosity-there's something about her quiet strength that draws him in. As they spend time together, Daisy begins to open up about her struggles and the dreams she has for her future. Slowly, a friendship blossoms, and maybe something more. But as their bond deepens, she must face the challenge of navigating a new life and whether love can grow in a world so often defined by silence.

She only has twenty-seven days to do it. And if Hadley doesn't succeed? Well, she doesn't want to think about that.

Mia Evian has to piece together the mystery of Zack Maddox, the bad boy whose life she saved, while simultaneously keeping her own crumbling life together before Zack ends up in trouble again - or worse yet, dead. ***** This is a love story. When Zack Maddox, a notorious bad boy, meets Mia Evian, a nobody with a disdain for arrogant pretty boys, the two teenagers' lives are thrown into chaos. Zack is a mystery Mia can't unravel, and as her family is torn apart by her father's infidelity, her newfound thrill-seeking attitude is the only thing keeping her head above water. As Mia's behaviour turns increasingly reckless, Zack becomes the lifeboat keeping her afloat. Mia thought she had a good grasp of the world, but she's beginning to realise the people around her are far more complex than she could have ever imagined. Worse still, she may not be the only one who needs a lifeboat. This is a love story - just not the kind you might expect. ***** Content warning: This story contains mild drug and alcohol use and themes of mental health, self-harm, and suicide. Featured: Wattpad Poetry Feb 2022 My times spent having conversations about life, longing and love.....with myself. In the company of solitude, I attempted to pen down a few lines on a range of emotions and experiences with a simple aim to revisit them in future. I urge the reader to join me and relive his and her own memories and find themselves. There are a few quiet conversations with 'her' as well. She visits seldom these days, busy with others seeking her. I miss her - 'life'. Hope we find meaning in our little conversations with ourselves and life.
